Rotting Flesh - 6 enigma

The Second full length release by the Thessalonica based outfit Rotting Flesh has been released. Having been a band for 14 years and releasing only 2 albums seems that things haven’t turned out so well for these guys, but the fact is that their second self released album is out and that matters now.
\r\nMusically Rotting Flesh is a band with an intense presence of keyboards in their music, many atmospheric passages and some up tempo breaks. They do sound technical and they managed to put all of their elements, which are many in a very well solid sound that is recognizable from the first note. The vocals are also very good and their compositions are somewhere between Floridian death metal and majestic black metal with many avant garde elements that remind me a bit of the early 90’s extreme metal scene of Greece.
\r\nGenetally “6 Enigma” is a very good album that won’t pass unnoticed amongst the friends of the scene and not only them. I ve been convinced by their originality of their sound, the well structured compositions but i d like them to be a little more lengthen on duration, without this fact meaning that i  am not pleased from their music. Now that the Rotting Flesh engine is on, i hope to have the chance to hear more from these guys in the near future.
