\r\nReading the title of the cd I was wondering about the reasons why a band would chose such a title; I mean it’s 2011. My question was answered just when I searched on the net for info about Roxxcalibur. They realesed their debut album "NWOBHM For Muthas" on 2009, paying tribute to some of their favorite bands; their new cd, “Lords Of The NWOBHM” is also a compilation of cover songs. \r\nRoxxcalibur stay very close to the original versions of the songs, which are coming from “cult” bands such as SATAN, TOKYO BLADE, QUARTZ, OXYM, SPARTA, TYGERS OF PAN TANG, VENOM, SAXON, bringing back in a sense a very important part of the Heavy Metal history. It’s an honor for the band that Chris Tsangarides is behind the production, taking the sound to a high level and giving credits to whole effort. \r\nAlright, it’s all good, however I don’t really find anything that appealing in building a career in the music industry by releasing cds consisting of cover songs only, instead of your own songs. \r\n
