THE SILENT RAGE - S/T

The Greek outfit, The Silent Rage, before the release of their first full length album “Inner Scars” provides us with a “teaser” of their new work through the self titled EP (The Silent Rage)
\r\nThree years after their first demo release and with a completely different line – up, except Nikos that is the only remaining member, return with the known power metal essence of theirs and many progressive elements, giving us the chance to take a listen to five of the eleven tracks of their new album. The EP has been produced by Stathis Pavladis  (Reflection, InnerWish, Marauder etc) and this fact for sure can ‘help’ The Silent Rage to unfold their talent and sound proper. Through the tracks of the EP the main characteristic of the guys’ music is of course melody and melodic choruses that after the second time of listening will stick in your mind. I found really great the guitar work, rhythm and solo and their most strong feature, the “professional” vocals of Kostas Tokas that have been helped by Nick Siglidis’s harsh vocal lines.
\r\nIn General the music sounds fresh and solid, with the help of the many keyboard lines and the –easy to be listened- bass lines. Personally I am looking forward to the first full length of the band!
