Silenzio - Demo 2007

I ve been always believe that Italy is a great source of metal bands, and with such releases I believe that this is a fact for true. So, Silenzio is an outfit from Pavia and their first demo, “Demo 2007” really impressed me.
\r\nThe Italians play progressive metal in the vain of Shadow Gallery, Enchant and early 90’s progressive metal bands. Very technical playing, but not boring all the way, with many great melodies and melodic vocal lines, the vocals doesn’t sound like the most of the Italian bands.
\r\nFrom ala Stratovarious break outs Silenzio can easily pass to more progressive patterns and with the help of the great keybord player can pass into the more “mellow” sounds of Shadow Gallery…and just imagine ..this is just a demo.
\r\nThe only negative point is that the demo features 4 tracks of about 25 minutes of music, personally I preferred more songs but it’s ok it is their first demo after all.
\r\nI feel that this band one day will make it to separate from all the other bands of this style.
