Sinocence - Scar Obscura

Sinocence - Scar Obscura

\r\nAlright, I have to admit that what appealed to me in the first place was the artwork. Brilliant. Other than that, Sinocence were a nice surprise to me and I hope they will be a nice surprise for the fans of modern metal in general, as I consider them as α very promising band.
\r\nSinocence come from Ireland and they are a “fresh” band. They have a “classical” music background, coming from Metallica, Testament, Exodus, but what features their music is how they combine those influences with the ones they have from Machine Head, Pantera, Bullet for My Valentine etc. Their music direction varies; one moment you hear a heavy/thrash song and the next, the same song turns to modern metal and metalcore, mostly due to the vocals. Apart from the explosive rhythm section and the devastating guitars, Moro’s vocals really stand out in the songs; his singing is very passionate and intense.
\r\nI think that their experience onstage is enough – as a matter of fact they have toured with W.A.S.P., Machine Head, Lacuna Coil, In Flames, Therapy?- to perform the songs live, with the same energy and nerve that can be found in the album. I’d really love to see them on stage in the near future, especially if the songs “Perfect Denial” and “Metalbox” are in the set-list too!\r\n
