STARBREAKER - Love's dying wish
\r\nA really pleasant surprise and the most appropriate way to start the day under the best conditions. Compared to the albums that I have received lately, this one is really something. It is melodic, it has heavy outbursts, hard rock background, and progressive passages, all through a gloomy mood to which the lyrics contribute a lot as well of course. In other words a musical direction based on “fresh” approaches and ideas that which escape the classic definition of certain words, but we have to use in order to describe with words the enchanting atmosphere of some albums. In case all these don’t sound appealing, Harnell ‘s vocals should be appreciated merely because he has done a really exceptional work. So much beautiful songs that you won’t realize how quickly time passes by. I will avoid using the typical stuff such as clean production, beautiful riffs, groovy rhythm section, because I think that words won’t suffice for such an album. Simply give it a listen. I do not know which ones could become hits and it’s not really important to me as much as the fact that in total we have a very good material which would hardly disappoint someone regardless of the song he might chose to listen. The only thing that keeps on destroying the songs once more is the extremely annoying Voice Over that is being heard OVER and OVER again.\r\n
