\r\nThe chances of a veteran band that came about in the 80’s releasing a good (and not just worth listening) album these days keeping it modern and not straying from the original sound are rare. Though I have to mention that during 2008 we had some really great releases from the veterans of Hard rock (Whitesnake, Dokken etc).Tesla with their new album are among these great releases and they are here to remind us that thy can still compose the so-called “radio hits” with catchy choruses (I wanna live, so what, Forever more, All of me) as well as amazing power ballads which are something like the trademark of the band, while a big surprise is the anti war Pvt.Ledbetter. All these are given from a more modern point of view while the sound on the guitars are heavier and sturdier and the melodies are exactly where thy supposed to be. The production is enormous boosting even more the sound and the compositions themselves. Jeff Keith’s characteristic voice is what amazed me from the very beginning. This guy sounds like “Mechanical Resonance” was released a year ago! The rest of the band sound like being in great shape and this might be due to their new guitarist Dave Rude. Generally Forever more is a great album and it is not only for fans of Tesla but also for fans of good Hard rock. The rest of you just give them a chance and you surely won’t regret it. Besides as they say: “Hey if you like it or not, So what, that’s all we got!”\r\n
