Tomorrow's Eve - Tales from Serpentia

Tomorrow's Eve - Tales from Serpentia

\r\nThe Germans Tomorrow’s Eve as if returning from a distant hellish world they are telling us histories and thoughts in an enchanting and at the same time melancholic way, putting us in a trip of haunting melodies. A battle between dream and nightmare, through small narrations and songs coming from a twisted mind which is lost somewhere between imagination and its torturing reality while trying to find the reasons that led to this situation and wanting desperately to escape from all these voices that have captured it there.
\r\nPassionate vocals from Martin LeMar, exquisite guitars and enchanting keys comprise the basic characteristics of a supreme piece of work. It is progressive, without making us dizzy with –in purpose- complicated technical parts and melodic, with power metal bases, yet through a dark and gloomy prism, both musically and performing wise. They achieve in the biggest degree to put you in the subject with the theatricality that surrounds the songs plus the lyrics, even though they are simple words, penetrate you with the intensity and the sentiment that they have in them. Yes, it is the incredible performance of Martin LeMar, as said above. Merely astonishing. If you have not heard them before, besides this album, you should also look for older material of theirs. One of the highest quality samples of modern music that as time passes by it matures in order to it give us its best. Highly recommended. \r\n
