Warmaster - First War

Warmaster - First War

\r\n When the band is called Warmaster, the album First War and band mates wear Bolt Thrower and Obituary t-shirts, what they have to do in order to expalin what kind of music they play. As you understood we have to deal with a band that accupies with war Death Metal and naturally the basic influences are Bolt Thrower, Unleashed, Six Feet Under etc. First War is their debut album and i think they make a dynamic entrance to the extreme sound once the cd contains some very good tracks that can stand with songs that the bands we mentioned before have written. It’s a fact that some points resemble to some parts from Bolt Thrower  but definitely are not completely the same, not because Warmaster don’t  want to be listened like that, but bacause it’s very difficult yo copy Bolt Thrower and to get exactly to the mentality and the mood of the band. The record contains 8 tracks and personally none of them tired me. All of them have almost the same structure, whereas all of them are melodic and groovy. The speed is high but there are some mid tempo parts, while some solos appear some times. The vocals remind Karl Willets(Bolt Thrower) somthing that i think it’s not a coincidence, while the production is good enough. Generally it’s a very good album that contains some good songs, but there is no reason to glorify the band.  \r\n
