WAYLANDER - Honour Amongst Chaos

At Last!!! The third release by the Irish Folk Metal outfit Waylander lays in the CD player tray. The Celtic / Folk legends, the band that supported this musical movement during a dark period and never got the recognition they deserved, managed to release their 3rd album in a period of 10 years. The album “Honour Amongst Chaos” is the new masterpiece by the Celts. The album consists of clear and Brutal Vocals, up tempo vibes, double kicks, amazing guitar parts and of course the characteristic folklore passages in the way only Waylander could provide us. This album is more close to Skyclad’s early releases and Sabbat’s first two albums.
\r\nHaunting folklore melodies, atmospheric, obscure, from the band that despite the folk / celtic identity has never stopped to play some good heavy metal, and this is probably the reason why they have released three albums in ten years, while other so called folk metal bands release one album per year plus dvd’s singles and stuff.
\r\nIf you call yourself a folklore fan just go ahead and buy this album. I hope that now that we found Waylander again, won’t loose them.
