EPICA - Simone Simons

On the event of EPICA’S live appearances in Greece, Elena Mihailidou and Vasilis Mazaris of Metalzone.gr did a video interview with EPICA’S vocalist Simone Simons.

\r\nSimone talks about the experience of playing live for the first time ever in Thessaloniki, and the experience of being part of the first ever March Metal Day which had as a result the creation of a fan club in Greece for the band.

\r\nSimone talks about her recent health problem, the new album and all their upcoming tour. She says her favorite album is the latest and what are the difficulties into releasing a DVD after they signed in Nuclear Blast.
\r\n
\r\nSimone also talks about how bonded she feels with her band and how she wouldn’t leave EPICA in order to join another band even if it were Nightwish as the rumor suggested when Tarja was fired from the band. She also talks about her idols and how she is still evolving as a singer and she feels female vocals in the metal scene aren’t a passing trend.
