ICED EARTH - PRESS CONFERENCE- MAT BARLOW & JON SCHAFFER

\r\nOn the event of their live appearance in Greece’s Rock Em All Festival on July 20th Mat Barlow and Jon Schaffer gave a press conference to the Greek media. Metalzone.gr’s Elena Mihailidou and Nikoleta Saradou were there to record what they had to say which turned out to be very interesting.

\r\nThey talked about the new album, where they stand after Mat’s return, the way they were disappointed when they found out they weren’t headlining the festival, their influences – how he used to get records when he was young and how his sister’s influences were also his, their priorities and how John wants to study music as he is self taught. John also talks about how the box set of the release which is going to be out now is going to be with respect to the fans in order to give a product which would satisfy them. He also says that the Alive in Athens was a rip off for the fans from his previous record company. Mat answers to what he did during his absence and how it feels to be back. How he tries to give his own touch in the songs of the other vocalists in Iced Earth and how he has never missed a show even if he had to perform sick.
