DIRKSCHNEIDER & THE OLD GANG TO RELEASE DEBUT EP "ARISING" IN AUGUST

One of the most surprising collaborations of the past year is now registering its debut EP after a few Youtube singles. We're talking about DATOG or DIRKSCHNEIDER & THE OLD GANG.

These consist of ex-ACCEPT / UDO front man Udo Dirkschneider and his long-time companions Peter Baltes (bass; ex-ACCEPT), Stefan Kaufmann (guitar; ex-ACCEPT, UDO) and Mathias Dieth (guitar; SINNER, UDO) as well as Udo's son Sven Dirkschneider (drums; UDO, DIRKSCHNEIDER) and singer Manuela Bibert.

DIRKSCHNEIDER & THE OLD GANG: Part of the ACCEPT family is getting back together Stefan Kaufmann said: “It was great fun creating new music with my old companions. The fact that there are also the influences of two young musicians was a completely new and great experience for me. And the fact that we were able to win Mathias for the project is the icing on the cake for me. " Mathias Dieth was guitarist with U.D.O. from 1987 to 1991, played and composed on the albums "Animal House", "Mean Machine", "Faceless World" and "Timebomb."

The debut EP, called “Arising”, will be available for purchase on August 27th. All three previously known pieces by DIRKSCHNEIDER & THE OLD GANG are represented on it.
