Devin Townsend Project - Ghost
\r\nIn the next few days the last two albums of The Devin Townsend Project series are about to be released, following the albums “Ki” and “Addicted” (2009). The album titles will be "Ghost" and "Deconstruction".
\r\nIt may be hard to believe that the frontman, guitarist and main composer of Strapping Young Lad (1994-2006) would ever be interested in such music fields; however, even though he became widely popular via extreme metal forms, Devin Townsend dares to become experimental in his solo albums and he follows different, perhaps unexpected music paths, far from a specific music genre, which is mostly related to the (long) past years of his carreer.
\r\n“Ghost” is atmospheric, harmonic, penetrating, with no outbursts or variations; there’s a unique sense of beauty in it and a special music perception, away from any boundaries as in fact it hasn’t any target group at all.
\r\nIt’s merely genius. \r\n
