\r\nThe last few years, we see bands from France all the time, playing this modern type of metal. I must remind you also the recent live concert of ZUUL FX here in Greece. It’s this mix of metal and hard-core with melodic parts in vocals and music. DAGOBA released their 3rd official work- FACE THE COLOSSUS- and they are for sure one of the French bands that support this kind of metal. In the album you can hear fast and furious riffs, raging and also clear vocals, very good job in drumming and bass and a lot of experimental themes in sounds. The production is awesome and the entire album reminds me bands like: FEAR FACTORY, PANTERA, ΜΑCHINE HEAD and also SEPULTURA (after-ROOTS era) but with their own unique style. The songs are raging and aggressive with a lot of melodic parts and emotional bridges. If you like this kind of style DAGOBA will make you love them. All you have to do to FACE THE COLOSSUS it’s to face your local record shop, ask for this album and stop listening to music only by downloading from the internet. You should also buy albums and support the bands and metal. And it’s the only way you can see the perfect job that DAGOBA did on the cover and the whole artwork.
