Joel’s Grind one man band -Toxic Holocaust- has risen the flag and Relapse records made their move. It’s his third official work and besides the fact that you can see some live concerts in the internet Joel Grind is recording the albums alone!! The new album -An overdose of death- is again a toxic thrash party!! Some people call it neo-thrash some say that this is a hardcore/punk band but my personal opinion its that JoelGrind is an old-school thrasher and a big fan of Venom ,Sodom,Slayer and even Discharge. The album has easy and catchy riffs and the classic thrash-death rotten vocals. There are some remakes on old songs without nobody understands the difference while Toxic Holocaust are true to their toxic thrash style.Only now the production is way better and the wild dogs on the cover seems more toxic than ever!!The lyrics are in the same attitude,talking about war,religion,destruction and Armageddon.
