MOURNING BELOVETH - A Disease for the Ages
“A Disease for the Ages” is the title of the newest, fourth album by the Irish outfit Mourning Beloveth. Mourning Beloveth is probably one of the few bands of this genre that really deserves the listener’s attention. Their style of music is deeply inspired by the old classic doom metal sounds with classic doom metal riffing. Despite the fact that the most of their vocals are brutal, there are many verses in the album sung with clear vocals, to be more accurate, very good clean vocals.
\r\nThe album features five tracks with total running time of 56 minutes. So during 56 minutes the band unfolds a great mixture of their influences, bands like Paradise Lost (“Gothic” era) plus influences from other bands of this genre like My Dying Bride etc. The album in it’s entirely features some nice down tempo music with very good riffs and some nice melodies.
\r\nThe “A Disease for the Ages” I believe that is a very descent release for the fans of that genre.
