MOB - The Greatest Enemy
\r\nFifth completed album for MOB, a band which isn’t heard enough in the fields of extreme sound, but we have to do with an appreciable group that it does not do something different from playing melodic Heavy Metal but what they make they do it by heart and thus the result is extremely interesting and pleasant. Due to the fact that I have also heard their previous releases, I can say with certainty that The Greatest Enemy is with difference the best they have presented to us up until today. Apart from the fact that its compositions hide a beauty which travels us back in time, it is obvious that the composing abilities of the members, have increased and each track has something different to offer to us. The music of the band, can be characterized as melodic Heavy Metal, but there are also some times when MOB get us into something more Hard Rock and classic. All tracks are constituted by amazing melodies that are mainly created from the rhythm guitars, but also from the lead ones. Vocals, play separate role in the whole result and they are well-structured and enough mature for such a release and they give colour in the album. There are also many touching songs, which stuck in your brain from the first listening and also there are others that you need more time in order to absorbs them. The rhythms that we meet here are mainly mid tempo, but the moments where the band increases speed, are not absent and it becomes more Heavy but also melodic. It needs to be mentioned that very important role in this amazing result plays also the exceptional production, while in some songs we have guest appearances, from Ola Salo from their The Ark. If you like melodic/Heavy listenings, the only you must do is to hear MOB. \r\n
