Impaled - The Last Gasp

\r\nThis is no longer war... This is cold-blooded murder! When an album begins like that, then the least that we must wait for is that it will blow up our brains. The abilities of Impaled to create unique Gore moments with a great potion of Death Metal are well known and they are not disputed. In the past they have offered us very good albums, but with The Last Gasp they prove how gifted they are and how they can surpass themselves, releasing an album of pure Death Metal / Grind, that must not be absent from the collection of fan of the specific genre.\r\n

\r\nThe Last Gasp is faster and more extreme than their previous release Death After Life, while also they give us the impression that Impaled have improved a lot and can take our brains with one single song, not to mention the whole album. What needs to be mentioned is the fact that the band, while sometime seems to have created something chaotic, the easy-listened riffs combined with the great speeds and with the whole extreme mentality of the band, really astonishing us and force us to stay here to listen the rest. The 11 tracks of the album hide something macabre and creepy, bringing us scenes from "28 days Later" movie, something which is also happening because of the album’s artwork. To stop exaggerating, Impaled is one of the most appreciable band in the genre and The Last Gasp is the album which must not be missing from nowhere. Those who are fans of Carcass of the early days, but also those who occupy with macabre and extreme, then they must not leave this album, pass unnoticed. GORE!\r\n
