Agua De Annique - Pure Air

Anneke van Giersbergen is for sure one of the most, beloved female voices from the Greek fans, well known from her long contribution in the well known band from the Netherlands, The Gathering. So the time has come for Anneke to release her second effort, after she left The Gathering and in this particular album, she tries to re – define in a way her music direction and give to the fans of her band (Agua De Annique) something that wanted for some time, an accoustic album which will features some re worked tracks from their first album, “air”, plus some cover songs in the same accoustical feeling
\r\nSo in this particual album “Pure Air” we listen to some “chill out” atmosphere full of emotions and Anneke’s angelic voice to perform some tracks from “Air” , like “Beautiful One”, “Day After Tommorow” “Yalin” etc, plus some coversongs- surprises like “The Blower’s Daughter” by Damien Rice,  “Ironic” by Alanis Morissete, and the all time classic “The Power Of Love”  by Frankie Goes To Hollywood. In this dearing choice Anneke has also some artists that contribute, artists like Danny Cavanagh, Arjen Lucassen, John Wetton (King Crimson), Sharon den Adel and more.
\r\nThis is for sure not a metal album, but this is what I call a musical experience to anyone’s ear. I suggest the purchase of these album for all these times that you need to listen to something smoother and to relax your senses.
