Amagortis - Pre Natal Cannibalism

\r\nAre you ready to be fucked? We are gonna fuck you up! These are the words that this album begins with. And the truth is that already from the album’s cover it was an easy task to early understand what to expect from the Swiss Amagortis and their release "Pre Natal Cannibalism". Brutal, guttural fucking sick Death Metal with much groove between Cannibal Corpse, Severe Torture and Deeds OF Flesh. All the forementioned are some of my most beloved groups ever and Amagortis seem to pay them the same respect and honor also. Strong and fast drums, growling singing and just as hard and fast guitar riffs. The slam parts of the bassist Nat are beautiful and let the album groove fantastically while providing it with a powerful tendency. Also there are some pornosamples, horrorsamples as well as Beavis & Butthead which open a track all giving the tracks an extra sick charm. \r\n

\r\nThe lyrics as expected of course are dealing with raping, slitting, mutilating and all these good and nice things but if you are a female listener of this album you may re consider because the common word for women in this album are whore, slut, cunt etc. Of course their bassist doesn’t seem to have any problem with that and in the end I didn’t have either cause what really matters here is the music and not what some misogynists think about. Either way in the end of the day they will probably end up licking with much adoration what they entitle with such disrespectfulness here. \r\n

\r\nComing to the music again the sound is not excessively brilliant, but altogether truly satisfying. \r\n
