\r\nFrom what I’ve read American Angel was a late ’80s Hard Rock band that eventually got into a hiatus somewhere in 1992. This is their comeback album on Chavis Records (how original these days!!!) with only one remaining member from the original lineup, the singer Rocco Fury. (Sigh!!!) What have I done to deserve this? Well, as foretold American Angel is a hard rock band that at first reminded me a lot of Aerosmith, then a Sleaze Glam feel popped up out of the band’s sound pot while there were also moments that they resembled quite like Journey with a clear AOR prospective. (Sigh again!!!) The album is full of melody, slow and mid paced oriented songs, some undoubtedly well arranged guitar work and really powerful vocals. Surely the songs sound flashy, strongly mainstream and radio targeting. So, if you are a fan of this kind of mellow hard rock output then be my guest, you might like it. \r\n
