Bassinvaders - Hellbassbeaters

\r\nMarkus Grosskopf doesn’t need introduction. According to the story, during some beer-drinking, Markus decided to create a Project in collaboration with other bass players that would be based on what else.... the bass. So, he gathered together a bunch of bass players, such as Billy Sheehan, Rudy Sarzo, Marco Mendoza, Dennis Ward, Jens Becker, Dirk Schlachter, to name a few, and some special guests as well, such as Apollo Papathanasio and Jesper Binzer on vocals, André Hilgers and Stefan Arnold on drums and the well known Tom Angelripper, Schmier and Peavy also on bass, and they created "Hellbassbeaters". The main feature of the album is that there are no guitar parts. And the result of it? There were moments when some songs would sound a bit "empty", and many more when the absence of the guitars would not make any difference at all.  What’s for sure is that this album can be welcome by a bass player as well as by a non bass-freak, as a part of their music collection. \r\n
