BISON’s POWER
\r\nCanadian quartet BISON B.C. are releasing their second official work, only now the label behind the album is Metal Blade Records. BISON B.C. is band born from the ashes of the skate/thrash band S.T.R.E.E.T.S. and they play a mix of heavy-doom-stone rock with a lot of energy. The vocals are as brutal as it needs and with some clear spots in great balance , the riffs puts you in a concert mood and automatically you shake your head and searching for your beer ,the drums and bass are forcing you for headbanging and forgetting beer for the time! -QUIET EARTH- is very easy-listening and the whole album is floating in a way that you won’t realize that you already heard all the tracks. There are spots that they might remind you bands like DOWN, KYUSS and SUPERJOINT RITUAL in their stone-rock playing but even the dark atmosphere of bands like CELTIC FROST in some Doom breaks. The production is great and the recordings are done by Jesse Gander (3 INCHES OF BLOOD, SUBHUMANS, and MASS GRAVE). Also, in the album you can hear guest vocals by 3 INCHES OF BLOOD’s singer!! A very good album from Canada and BISON B.C.(British Columbia) for 43 minutes of Stone-Rock headbanging!!
