Black Crucifixion - Promethean Gift

The phenomenon of the re-releases is very common these days. But the most of them is just easy cash in for the labels. Fortunately this one does not belong to this category.
\r\nBlack Crucifixion is a very obscure band from Finland and their “Promethean Gift” E.P. has been released back in 1993 and was in limited copies. The band besides this EP has released another one E.P , “The Fallen One of Flames” in 1999 and just two years ago they released their first full length album “Faustian Dream” (2006)
\r\nThe “Promethean Gift” originally released as EP with four tracks, but the label re-released it with four bonus tracks (2 Demo songs, 1 studio track and 1 live track). The musical direction of the EP is attached to the old black metal scene and bands like Celtic Frost, Bathory,Tiamat etc, with down tempo motive and freezing, dark atmosphere, the way we have learned black metal banc in the early 90’s
\r\nAll of you that you are fans of the old fashioned black metal scene, this is your release, as for the other that believe that black metal is today’s Dimmu Borgir and Cradle Of Filth, just buy a D.B. or C.O.F. re release…every week they got something re-released.
