Coram Lethe - ...A Splendid Chaos

Coram Lethe is an Italian outfit and the “...A Splendid Chaos” album is their third release, the first with Erica Puddu on vocals. I admit that listening to this promo the whole thing turned into a pleasant surprise for me. These Italians perform some very well- performed and well-written technical death metal with some black metal cuts and all these elements dressed up in a very good production.
\r\nListening to Coram Lethe I noticed, despite the production, the skilful mixture of Death metal with some more melodic riffage, like the old days of Night In Gales for instance as well as the very good leads that exist throughout the whole album, moreover the many changes on their music themes with melody having the leading role. I hope that they will keep on playing in that way and wont transform the band into something like Arch Enemy did some years ago, Chick Death Metal.
