DANGER - First Touch
DANGER - First Touch
Sleaze/ Glam Hard Rock is a style of music which, nowadays, gains more and more publicity among Rockers. Danger, which were formed in Sweden in 2003, is a band whose music roots are, on groups like Cinderella, Poison, Motley Crue and a bit of Twisted Sister’s and Skid Row’s touch. After their first two ,unsigned, full length cds (”Keep Out” and ”In Control”), which sounded like a mixture of 80/90s metal bands, like Iron Maiden and Helloween, they hired Jesse Kid to handle the mic. Jesse’s voice, wasn’t really a high pitched power metal singer’s one, but a more glam/ sleaze. Since then they have composed four more demo-singles ”Playin’ The Game” (2006), ”Spread Your Legz" (2007) ”California Red” (2007) and ”Shove It Up Your Azz” (2007). "First Touch" is their first complete EP and is consisted of six tracks, in the same mood as the groups I previously mentioned. Good, simple compositions, with attitude, as they should be and with a very good vocalist, whose personal touch makes the whole EP, sound at higher standards. The production and the overall sounding is also professional and makes this cd a very pleasant and easy listening one. All of tracks are depended on the guitars and the melodic vocal lines, while the rhythm section serves its purpose, without overdoing it. You will not listen to any virtuoso soloing or anything like that, but to a sincere, melodic release with up tempo, joyful and groovy tracks. That’s the meaning after all. Even if there’s nothing new here, especially fans of this particular style, would be satisfied by all means. As for me, I will be waiting for their next, full length, this time, release.
