Disturbed - Asylum
Disturbed - Asylum
\r\nConcerning their music style, most people agree on the fact that, more or less, all of their songs are based on the same patterns. I really like the band, however I won’t disagree with the above aspect; Disturbed have formed their own music style and hardly someone won’t recognize a song of theirs. The fact that their music is recognizable based on the above – the songs are pretty much alike each other, that is- on one hand it makes it predictable, on the other hand, oh well, that’s exactly what Disturbed is; a very strong name of modern metal, with its own music personality and a bunch of very good releases, where someone can actually find all the elements that define the modern metal sound.
\r\n“Asylum” is the fifth album release of the band; we have already had a taste from it via the self-titled video clip, a video made for a song, which in my opinion was the best choice possible. There are songs, which deal with the destruction of the environment, (“Another Way to Die”), songs that deal with metaphysics /paranormal subjects (“Serpentine”, “The Animal”), as well as personal experiences (“The Infection”, “My Child”), while the social problems remain a great inspiration for the band (“Innocence”, “Mine”). In addition, taking advantage of the upcoming live show of U2 in Athens, I must refer to the very beautiful cover for the song”Still haven’t found what I’m looking for”, even though it’s very close to the original version of it.
\r\nBased on the usual music style of theirs, Disturbed have created a very good and inspired album; “Asylum” is an ideal album coming from what is labeled as”modern metal”. \r\n
