Dug Pinnick - Strum Sum Up

Dug Pinnick is the bassist / singer of King’s X, an under ratted band by the fans and the media as well.
\r\nThis Is the Second solo release of Dug, who this time leaves his bass guitar and pick up the Guitar and of course the vocals of the project / band. All of the 14 compositions are more or less into the rock / soul / Funky sound, very well played with a solid sound. Probably the only disadvantage is that although Dug is an excellent bass player, his abilities are not equal on guitar playing as well, but this fact does not affect the whole music experience that “ Strum Sum Up” provides us with cheerful melodies, very technical playing and of course the unique bluesy voice of Dug, who remains one of the best bluesy singer in the whole rock scene of these days.
\r\nI’m sure that this cd will find many listeners that will love it from the first, down to the last note.
