Firenote - Firenote

\r\nIt’s not easy to manage playing 80’s Hard Rock in the year 2009 and make it sound so fresh! The way that this band approaches Hard Rock is very appealing.
\r\nTo be more specific, Firenote play Hard Rock, with many neoclassical power elements which can be found mostly during the guitar solos, and AOR passages, which can be mostly found in the keyboards’ melodies. The vocals sound like a mixture of CJ Snare from Firehouse and Bernhard Weiss, from Axxis as well, but no way does the lead singer imitate neither of them. In fact his voice is very special and colorful.
\r\nErkka Korhonen is behind the production, and for those who are not familiar with his name, he is the guitarist of the Finish Hard Rockers Urban Tale. His has done an excellent work and the compositions sound so modern and with their own character.
\r\nLots of bands sound like Firenote these days, bands that are quite popular actually. However I think that they just have met their match.
\r\nHighly recommended to fans of H.E.A.T., Europe, TNT and Axxis.\r\n
