Fleshred - Bloodtorn

Fleshred - Bloodtorn

\r\nDeath metal, violence, relentless beating, oldschool. This review could end right here and still be complete, believe me! Fleshred show absolutely no mercy but show all respect towards the old school gods. Vomitory, Requiem, Dismember. I bet they’ve built shrines to these old monsters, you can tell even by looking at the cover art.

\r\n So, if your ears fancy velvet fairies and all that girly shit you might as well stop reading right now. But what is there for a death metal fan to discover in this album. A fan that has been digging the underground in order to discover potentialy new material. It depends actually. If you’re looking for inovation, experimentism or other types of new found glory you’ve lost the game. The guys in Fleshred are doing their job the best way they can and they gain my respect for that. Like I said, they wonder the fields of the european deadly scene, providing well played death metal. They do not push themselves too much, their brutality comes out naturally. You can tell they’re fans, I don’t need to describe thoroughly. Sweden, blastsm slow, heavy parts. The basket is full!

\r\n If you’re not bothered by the lack of originality, but you are mostly a "focus on the song" type of guy you’ll dig this. Especially if you like the bands mentioned above(Vomitory in particular) "Bloodtorn" will fit like a glove. Yes, you can find lots of other bands doing this but Fleshred do it with good taste and talent. I’d recommend this to the "gotta have it all" fans though I think its duration could be somewhat less tiring..
