\r\nSometimes only one song is enough to bring images to your mind, images that come from another era, another culture, when “poser” was culminating and the whole glam rock style was a matter of many discussions as a big part of heavy metal fans would never accept that these bands belong to the metal scene at all. I think that such a generalization is a bit risky, as more or less, we all are emotionally attached to some songs of this genre, even if we didn’t like it as a whole. \r\n

\r\nMaybe some people continue to ignore Hanoi Rocks, and their career, however I think that their work so far is pretty remarkable. “Street Poetry” is a typical Hanoi Rocks album, it’s groovy– that kind of Rock ‘N’ Roll that makes you want to stand up and dance? that one – and more mid-tempo in other parts. The tracks are fine, pretty “catchy” especially some choruses, and in general, good enough for a hard rock, glam rock, sleaze, hair metal, call it as you wish, fan. I do not expect them to attract any new fans with this album, apart maybe from the “newbies” that are just beginning to discover this music and, right or wrong, this “procedure” usually refers to bands such as Guns ‘N’ Roses, Bon Jovi, Skid Row etc. \r\n
