Jesus On Extasy - Beloved Enemy
\r\nJesus on Extasy is claiming that their musical style is supposed to be Industrial/gothic rock. However, due to the fact that lately the situation is getting out of control as many bands claim to be part of this musical scene, allow me to use the term “Poser-Gothic”, as in some cases the looks matter much more than the music itself. Leaving the image behind, let’s try to focus on what we can actually hear in this album. Strong H.I.M.-like doses and catchy songs with a heavy essence, which is not the worst thing we have heard so far, yet it’s nothing new neither. A bunch of hit-songs with lyrics based on the love and death concept mostly, which are a small part of the endless list of this new culture of our days, where vinyl and black accessories play the most important role.\r\n
