Jimi Jamison - CROSSROADS MOMENT

Jimi Jamison - CROSSROADS MOMENT

The name of Jimi Jamison became widely known mainly from the band Survivor, without considering less important his work with Cobra and Target, as well as his various participations among which in some movie soundtracks. These are a few referances just for the record, while one can be informed about this artist by a brief surfing on the internet as his name is between those who played an important role, maybe in a lower degree compared to other names, of the ROCK scene in general.
\r\nLet’s go to the present now. I wouldn’t expect anything more or less coming from an album of this genre than this one. The songs are catchy enough, other times in groovy rythms and other in more melodic/ lyrical forms, with a good, clear production, while Jimi Jamison gives us both the sweet side of his voice, by “wandering” in many melodic lines and harmonies, and the powerful one, by emphasizing where he  should. I wouldn’t say that it belongs to the classical Rock scene, because the album is very fresh and modern and perhaps such a determination would be very general. Its bases, however, do not deviate from the classic musical forms of this genre. The clue is that it is a very good album and fans of the scene should definitely check it out. \r\n
