\r\nFor those who were disappointed by the last Lacuna Coil albums, Dark Adrenaline is a good chance to come close with the band again.\r\n
\r\n
\r\nIn their new album the guitars have much more space, plus their sound is rougher. The songs are based on the common Lacuna Coil formula, however the guitars are heavier than in the last albums. The vocal changes between Scabbia and Ferro are very appealing as well; Ferro has gained extra ground in the songs, giving them a savage and tough feeling, even though they are very melodic as always.\r\n
\r\n
\r\nThey still use the characteristic “pop” forms, true; still you may listen to a song out of Dark Adrenaline in some metal club as well as in some café, streaming between Radiohead and Lady Gaga, but you know…so what? The bottom line is, the album is very good having all this dark aura of Lacuna Coil taking your breath away.\r\n
