Lanfear - X To The Power Of Ten
\r\nI remember that it was some time ago when I was first introduced to the band and a discussion that I had with a friend about them was enough for me to look for material of theirs. A few years later, I see that they seem to take one step at the time, through very good albums, actually 6 so far if I am not mistaken (including the new one), however they remain hidden somewhere in what is called Underground scene. And that in my opinion is so wrong for them. Lanfear plays Prog/Power based mostly on a bunch of melodies, mesmerizing atmospherical parts, powerful rhythm section and excellent quality vocal lines. That guy must be one of the best voices out there and in combination to the lines he follows during the songs, it’s almost impossible to not make you pay attention. Like I said in the beginning, I think that they belong to the really good modern bands that have both new ideas and appetite for work and no doubt they deserve more attention than what has been given to them until now.\r\n
