Magnum - Wings Of Heaven Live

Magnum - Wings Of Heaven Live

\r\nDouble live cd from Magnum, recorded during November 2007 and just for the record, the second cd contains the live version of the “Wings of Heaven” album, and the track “Sacred Hour” as an encore, while the rest of the songs of the set list are just fine and can both “attract” and “teach” a small part of this band’s history, to those who may not be aware of what the name “Magnum” means, despite of the fact that their career goes many years back in time. The production is in a very good level and the sound quality is almost perfect as all the instruments sound pretty good. Regarding the vocal parts they sound crystal clear, and I think that it’s not only a matter of good production, recording and editing-wise, as Bob Catley seems to be in excellent form. The “highlights” in my opinion are the tracks  “When We Were Younger”, “Out of The Shadows”, “Dragons are Real”, and “Vigilante” from the first cd, and “Must Have Been Love” and “Different Worlds” and, of course, “Sacred Hour” from the second one. All in all, it’s a magical journey through melodies, which lasts for many minutes, plus it definitely belongs to the really good live album releases.\r\n
