Manimal - The Darkest Room

Manimal - The Darkest Room

\r\nSo, while I was wondering if Daniel Heiman has released an album with Balance of Power or if he joined Symphorce, it only took a quick look on the net to find out what’s going on. Nope, it’s not Balance of Power, nor Heed, nor Symphorce with Heiman on vocals, but a fresh new band which may remind you a lot of the previously mentioned names. The Swedish band, MANIMAL, will attract you at once with their so powerful compositions and will make you wanna blow your speakers during the listening of the album.
\r\nTheir style is based on Power Metal forms- by the way it seems me that things are getting better and better regarding this scene and I’m very glad about that- with plenty of progressive elements. On some spots there are so many Queensryche vibes from the “Rage for Order” as well as the “Empire” era, with Dream Theater extensions, while- I insist on that- they remind a lot of the album “The Call” by another great Swedish band called the HEED, which is one my top favorite albums by the way. I think that MANIMAL have all that it needs to attract both fans of classical metal and fans of prog/power metal, because their influences are combined and balanced in a superb way.
\r\nThe band recently signed a deal with AFM Records for a worldwide release in June. Don’t miss it!\r\n
