Ministry - Cover Up
Ministry - Cover Up
\r\nRecently, it has become a fashion, for well known and successful bands to release an album with covers. After Queensryche and Atrocity, it is time for Ministry to be added in this list. Cover Up could be used also as a collection, as the disc contains all the covers that Ministry have made throughout the years. Personally I am not favour with such movements, but from the moment that these discs exist, I must present them. First of all, the album contains many classic pieces, that do not come only from only the Rock genre. You can see below the track list. This release, is interesting enough from the point of view that we hear some of the most classic tracks played with Industrial aesthetics, which is of course constituted by heavy guitars and terrific vocals. The ability of Ministry, to create beautiful tracks either these are theirs or not, is known to everyone. What I do not know is how someone who is not fan of the band, can be interested in this release. In order to make it clear, I believe that Cover Up could be the supplement in a completed discography of Ministry. Somebody that has not dealt with the band until now, would not be good idea to deal with Cover Up and to ignore certain from the diamonds that this band has presented to us in the past. In a few words, Cover Up is an album that is suitable for those who are fans of Ministry and has heard everything from them. The rest it would be ideal to occupy with the past of Ministry, but also with most recent The Last Sucker, and have Cover Up as a second choice. \r\n
