Nocturnal - Violent Revenge

The German outfit Nocturnal exists under this name in the scene for about 10 years, but only made it to release two full length LPs with the latest effort having been released a couple of months ago. Five years have passed since their first LP “Arrival of the Carnivore” but have also released a great amount of releases all these five years in 7” format, split releases and E.Ps.
\r\nThe new effort of the Germans entitled “Violent Revenge” follows the old structure of their first album, so here we deal with classic, old school thrash metal with tons of sharp riffing that tear up our speakers and a great production straight from the 80’s
\r\nNocturnal musically seem to cherish the old school of Germany thrash metal scene and bands like Destruction, Kreator, Sodom, Assassin, Iron Angel etc. and this fact can be heard on their music, while the vocals by the new vocalist Tyrannizer left me wondering what the fuck hit me? And from where it comes?
\r\nSo, In conclusion here we deal with the great school of German thrash that nocturnal play in all it’s glory, with AWESOME riffing, up tempo and “balls”. I consider this release a release that every fan of the old school heavy metal MUST listen to.
