Nyia - More Than You Expect

\r\nThis band with this enough curious name comes from Poland and their second completed work More Than You Expect, is sure something much more from what we waited for and in particular came in order to rule the day of the Grindcore sound. In order to be honest, Grindcore release should be very good in order to leave to me pleasant impressions from the beginning and Nyia manage this very easily. Having one unique style, that springs both from classic Grind outbreaks and Jazz/Progressive ones, the band managed to create an album, which balances absolutely the extreme with the technical part, but also emotions, as there are not the few times where Nyia like to impress thanks to the many "relaxed" points that they have in their music which are constituted mainly from clear vocals and relaxing rhythms. The unique problem that I found is that in certain songs what makes the band -to combine Jazz with Grind- they are heard chaotic and causes in the listener the sense of uncompleted, as it appears that the compositions remain half, due to the lot of alternations, but also the a lot of chaotic passages. Vocals from Jakub Leonowicz, have suited absolutely with the music of the band and I admit that in certain points reminded me of Napalm Death, More Than You Expect is technical and difficult in the listening album, which is addressed exclusively in those who are friends of Grindcore, but also in those who search for technical and Progressive listenings. If you belong in the above categories, not leave it to pass unnoticed….\r\n
