Orion's Void - S/T

A Greek band that plays Doom Metal? During the past years there have been three, maybe four bands that achieved that. Despite the fact that Greece owns a wide and very good stoner scene, this doesn’t happen also for the Doom Metal scene.
\r\nSo these guys that hailing us from Thessalonica, try hard to play something that many bands have tried in the past with no any good results, but Orion’s Void did it. It’s all about traditional Doom metal, with a great pinch of lyricism, down tempo riffing and above all, the original Doom Metal feeling.
\r\nThe tracks that the promo features sound close to the Candlemass, Solstice - school and of course Black Sabbath! The lyrical themes are moving in the classic doom metal forms, like esoteric search, and everyday feelings.
\r\nThe Production is pretty good for a demo release and there is a strong presence of simple melodies throughout the tracks, minimalism along with lyricism is after all the point of doom metal, at last for those that know what Doom Metal is.
\r\nIn Conclusion, the Orion’s Void promo is a doom metal release, made from doomsters for doomsters… Our Fate is sealed …Doomed Eternally!!!.... Check their tracks and try to take hold of a copy of this well packaged promo release.
