Paul Gilbert - Silence Followed By A Deafening Roar
\r\nSilence Followed By A Deafening Roar is the name of virtuoso Paul Gilbert (ex-Mr. Big, Racer X) new album. In this album we have a simple and usual situation. Our dear Mr. Paul offers a heavy dose of technical music which is purely instrumental. We talk about an album that everyone who wants to learn how to play the guitar and study the playing technics or everyone how likes Steve Vai , Joe Satriani etc. should own. The cd has eleven tracks of filling technical Rock/Metal and, to be honest, is another typical Gilbert album with the only difference that the compositions are more melodical and groovy. Many solos are the main attraction and give the chills to those who are into these kind of stuff. Personally I think this type of music is adressed to a limited audience, fond of extreme sound, since it’s not really pleasing for everyone to listen to orchistrical and technical music for a long time. If you are into the things I just mentioned, then don’t hesitate to listen to this album. But if you’re not into it at all, then you’d better look for something else...\r\n
