Power Quest - Master Of Illusion

Power Quest - Master Of Illusion

\r\nSame story…The British Power Quest release their new album on behalf of Napalm Records which is named Master Of Illusion. Everything into this album is predictable and usual and personally I did not find something that could draw my attention. What we heard in their previous albums, we hear also and here, without any improvement and without any development. Melodic Power Metal with their basic influences Stratovarius, Rhapsody, Freedom Call etc. Fast tracks, melodic vocals, many symphonic keyboards, many solos and in general what we have got used in bands of similar style. There exist also some moments where the band becomes more mid tempo and it reminds us the relaxed moments of Stratovarius but even these they are not something unique. In Master Of Illusion we do not hear something new, but in general level the disk it is not one to get rid of it. The fact is that everything is more from played thousands of times and this is why the album can be heard with difficulty. If you believe that you have heard everything in the space of Melodic Power Metal, then check out Master Of Illusion, but do not wait for something different and pioneering.\r\n
