RAM - Lightbringer

RAM - Lightbringer

\r\nSometimes, based on the current music tensions, I wonder if a band that comes from the classic Metal scene could survive, far less if it could make some difference. RAM give an answer to that as they manage to impress you via their so classical and traditional style. The so much passionate and imposing vocals play a huge role to that. They are based mostly on Judas Priest and Iron Maiden riffing, and dark Mercyful Fate –like atmosphere with an intense epic mood on the top of it, that really carries you away. And how couldn’t they with such vocals, which by the way remind a lot of Midnight and King Diamond. Are all these enough? For me yes, because the thing is to put your influences into your own style without imitating. Highly recommended to the fans of more traditional metal stuff. In case someone implies that it all sounds too predictable, giving it a listen will make them reconsider. It’s the second release of the band, after the album “ Forced Entry” (2005), via AFM Records and it’s about to see the light of day on June 19th.   \r\n
