Raxa - Oxlahun Ti Ku

Raxa - Oxlahun Ti Ku

\r\nRaxa is the other Project of Russian Lefthander which we reported in previous review for their Sea Of Desperation. Here things are somehow better, because this work at least has something interesting. This album is absolutely a mentality that emanates from Aztecs so much for the lyrics (all of them is written in Aztecs language), but also for the artwork. It is as if he made a tribute in this civilization. Regarding music Oxlahun Ti Ku could be described as Doom Metal with some Ethnic and also Ambient parts. There are also some certain pieces that are very appreciable and somebody must really hear. What dominates in the all the album, is the beautiful atmosphere which however is mainly created from the keyboards and is capable of travelling us back in time , when Aztecs were in their zenith. It is obvious that they exist many well organized riffs and in general all this appears that it has be made with great attention, although I would personally prefer a better production. It is not bad, but in some points you feel that there is something missing. Oxlahun Ti Ku is an interesting album, that no one has something to lose if he/she checks this out. \r\n
