THE SILENT RAGE - Harvester Of Souls

The Athenian outfit returns with their second E.P. release, entitled “Harvester Of Souls”. Their 1sr release the sametitled E.P. has been released a couple of years ago and for sure caused some positive comments!
\r\nSo , the new EP release , features three older releases , “Perished In Flames” already the band’s trademark track, as well as , “Leading The Legions” and “Wings Of Tragedy” re – recorded with a brand new line up where D. Kontis’ vocals pushes the songs to another level, while the production helps a lot to the whole outcome.
\r\nIn this specific E.P. there is also featured two brand new tracks, entitled “Inner Scars” and “Harvester Of Souls” that fit the whole melodic power metal attitude of the band , with high pitched vocals and of course Nick’s (Guitars) harsh vocals in most of the tracks.
\r\nI have to admit that I really enjoyed the whole EP, since The Silent Rage seems to have already found the great balance between up tempo parts, melody, aggression and technique!
\r\nIn Comparison to their first release they ve sown some marks of progress, after all to be support act in shows with  Grave Digger / Rage and Shadow Gallery immediately means that you have the guts! The only reason I will rate this one with a lower rating than their first EP is the fact that I ve been looking forward to a Full Length, but always keep in mind that this is  difficult times for music industry and these guys released a self financed EP, that costs time and money!
