\r\nOld school thrash metal! This is the term that characterizes best the music of Sixty Nine. Nothing less, nothing more. Their style varies from old Slayer up to most recent Municipal Waste, but not only that. Between the 12 compositions album you will find traces from other groups of the glorious thrash past. Groups like Exodus, Nuclear Assault, Testament etc. which appear to have influenced the sound of Sixty Nine. This doesn’t mean that they are copying these groups due to lack of ideas and originality. On the contrary they have enough well worked compositions with very good sound in the guitars and smart riffs. Don’t expect to listen to something new, that’s not a progressive band, it is pure thrash metal. The production is on very good levels even if it refers in old school thrash albums, something which makes their intentions clear right from the start. We also understand this from the duration of the songs themselves, which they don’t last more than 2.30 mins. As a result the whole duration of the album is only 28 mins…but wasn’t that what the leaders taught us?\r\n
