Voices Of Destiny - From the Ashes

\r\nVoices of Destiny is a new Symphonic/Gothic Metal band, which recently signed with Massacre Records to release its debut cd, “From The Ashes”, starting its own “history” in the music industry.
\r\nThe basic elements of their music are: the dark, almost dramatic atmosphere, Maike ’s operatic vocals, that may be angelic and fairytale-like, however they lack dynamics and need more work on this field, the growls which darken the songs much more, and the “heavy” mood coming from the melodeath guitar melodies. Welp, it’s not only that. As most of the bands of this music genre tend to, they use synthpop spots and generally “pop” passages that you can name anything but melodeath actually!
\r\nFans of Nightwish and Epica should check it out, because the structure of the songs is pretty much based on their music forms. Voices of Destiny is a good upcoming band, no doubt, it’s just that they need a bit more work. \r\n
