WRECK-DEFY FEATURING FORMER TESTAMENT, ARCHETYPE MEMBERS RELEASE LYRIC VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE "FASHIONABLY OFFENDED"

Canada's thrash metal machine Wreck-Defy, featuring guitarist Matt Hanchuck alongside former Archetype singer Greg "Wags" Wagner, former Testament bass player Greg Christian and drummer Dave O'Neal, have released a lyric video for their new single, "Fashionably Offended".

"Fashionably Offended" is featured on the new album, The World Enslaved, available on December 1 at all digital retailers and providers.

OVERKILL RETURN TO THE STAGE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 609 DAYS; FAN-FILMED VIDEO OF "ROTTEN TO THE CORE" LIVE IN NEW JERSEY STREAMING

Legendary New Jersey thrashers, Overkill, made their return to Jersey on November 13 at The Wellmont Theater.

The night featured special guest and long-time friend of the band, guitarist Phil Demmel (Vio-Lence), who filled in for Dave Linsk. It was the band's first show since the pandemic.

ANUBIS RELEASE "THE GREAT DIVIDE" LYRIC VIDEO

Up and coming Los Angeles metal band Anubis are carving their own path by organically blending power and thrash metal together.

Founded in 2018, the band is comprised of bassist and vocalist Devin Reiche, guitarists Justin Escamilla and Eleazar Llerenas, and drummer Zed Amarin. The hybrid metal band’s newest single “The Great Divide” is available now.

METALLICA - FAN-FILMED VIDEO OF FIRST WELCOME TO ROCKVILLE HEADLINE SET STREAMING

The popular destination event Welcome To Rockville returned for its biggest year yet and moves to a new weekend for 2021, November 11-14, at its new home at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.

MACHINE HEAD TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM IN SUMMER 2022; STUDIO PHOTOS POSTED

Machine Head's Robb Flynn and Jared MacEachern spent the last week Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California with producer Zack Ohren working on their as-yet-untitled 10th album, due for release in summer 2022.

A message states: "Making great progress on at least 6 different new songs including a 10 minute plus epic."

DEATH ANGEL MEMBERS DISCUSS MAKING OF THE BASTARD TRACKS

San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal veterans DEATH ANGEL will release a new live album titled "The Bastard Tracks" on Black Friday, November 26 via Nuclear Blast.

Recorded live at The Great American Music Hall in their hometown of San Francisco on May 22, 2021, and streamed live soon after, "The Bastard Tracks"  is a deep-cuts collection of rarely and never performed songs from the band's celebrated catalog that will be released digitally and on CD, vinyl and Blu-ray.

VIO-LENCE - FAN-FILMED VIDEO OF MASS DESTRUCTION IV FESTIVAL SET STREAMING

Last year, Vio-Lence released a digital single, "California Uber Alles" (a cover version of the Dead Kennedys classic), via Metal Blade Records.

After giving fans a taste of what's to come, the band announced their upcoming EP: Let The World Burn - their first original release since 1993's Nothing To Gain - is due to be unleashed in early 2022 via Metal Blade Records

EXHORDER HAS BEEN 'WORKING VERY HARD ON NEW MATERIAL'

Vocalist Kyle Thomas of New Orleans-based thrash metal pioneers EXHORDER has confirmed to Heavy New York that the band is preparing to enter the studio to record the follow-up to 2019's "Mourn The Southern Skies" album.

"We have been working very hard on new material since the [start of] the pandemic," he said. "We've been demoing songs, doing pre-production, preparing for when we finally do record the actual album. So, yes, new EXHORDER will be coming at some point."
